HR Coordinator Hybrid | Sacramento, CA LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a mission-driven, stable organization to identify an organized and service-oriented HR Coordinator to support day-to-day Human Resources operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a structured environment, supporting employees, maintaining accurate HR data, and contributing to a collaborative HR team. Location: West Sacramento Pay: Up to $25/hr Schedule: Hybrid (MonWed onsite | ThursFri remote) Position Overview The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting administrative HR functions including onboarding, benefits coordination, HRIS updates, recruitment support, and employee engagement activities. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, thrives in process-heavy environments, and is comfortable handling confidential employee information with professionalism. Key Responsibilities Provide general HR administrative support, including onboarding/offboarding and employee documentation Maintain accurate personnel files and assist with verifications of employment (VOEs) Update employee records within the HRIS and process change-of-status forms Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life events, and COBRA documentation Reconcile benefits billing with HRIS data to ensure accuracy Support recruitment efforts through job postings, interview scheduling, and applicant communication Manage HR calendars, coordinate internal meetings, and assist with departmental budgeting support Maintain organizational charts and respond to HR help-desk tickets Coordinate logistics for employee meetings and events, including large-scale staff gatherings (up to ~120 attendees) Assist with employee engagement initiatives and HR communications Provide data entry, reporting support, and exceptional internal customer service Qualifications Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred 12 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail Comfort working within established processes, forms, and deadlines Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating as part of a team Experience in education, government, nonprofit, or association environments is a plus HRIS experience is helpful, though training will be provided Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour Search managed by: Kenneth Agojo Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
