Here's what you'd do: Performs various electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks supporting specific production units, developmental or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering, or preproduction operations where documentation and guidance may be limited. Works from schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components. Uses standard electronic assembly tools and materials. May perform modifications, rework, and quality testing. Work typically includes interaction with development or manufacturing engineering personnel. This position uses the microscope to assemble micro parts, not assembling/soldering circuit boards. Here's what you'll get: Pay: $24.00/hr. Hours: 4/10-1st Shift. Length: Temp (12 Months). Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of experience using a microscope to assemble components. Minimum of 2 years of experience with visual acuity in working with microscopes. Minimum of 2 years of experience with miniature precision devices and components. Minimum of 2 years of experience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology), rework, repair, assembly, PCB Rework, assembly, Medical Device Assembly, Jewelry Making, and Watch Repair. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: IPC J-STD-001 solder certification. Experience working in an ISO/clean room environment. Experience using a Microscope to assemble miniature parts into assemblies. Precise hand / eye coordination. Technical and detailed by nature. Able to adapt to changing part conditions. Able to adapt to various detailed part inconsistencies.
