This role ensures residents’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and safety, while supporting household activities and the overall well-being of residents.What You’ll Do Comply with established policies, procedures, and standards, including the Compliance Program/Code of ConductFollow Residents’ Rights policies at all timesMaintain confidentiality regarding all resident information, conditions, and family mattersFollow written and oral directions, performing duties according to nursing service policies and proceduresAssist new employees in understanding facility policies and proceduresIdentify resident problems, concerns, or changes in condition and report immediately to the charge nurseComplete assignments timely, completely, and accurately while respecting residents’ preferencesConduct resident rounds as assignedIdentify safety hazards and emergency situations, initiating corrective action or seeking assistance from LPN or RN if neededReport incidents and unusual problems according to facility proceduresParticipate in the development of individualized care plans for assigned residentsDocument care and treatment provided in a timely and accurate mannerFollow procedures for resident admission, discharge, and transferRespond promptly to call bells and ensure residents have call bells within reachAssist residents with activities of daily living, including meals, nourishment, and transportation to the dining roomCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide consistent, high-quality careObserve all facility safety policies, including the injury-free lifting programMaintain a clean, neat uniform and professional appearanceDemonstrate dependability and punctualityAssume Quality Assurance duties as assignedFollow infection control proceduresEnsure the safety of residents under your supervisionAssist with transporting residents to activity programs and scheduled eventsProvide activities for residents, conducting programs, visits, and activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilitiesDocument activity participation and responses in PointClickCarePerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned What We’re Looking For Meet training and competency requirements as defined in 42 CFR 483.75PA certification through an approved training program and competency testing within 120 days of hireListed on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Nurse Aide Registry with no substantiated findings of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident propertyTreat residents with kindness and respectStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasksKnowledge of computers, fax, telephone, copier, Nurse Call System, Security and Fire System, and PointClickCare documentation systemsMust work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as assigned Additional InformationAs a FLEX (per diem) CNA  you are eligible for shift differentials that include $2 for evenings, $1.50 for nights, and an additional $1 for weekends. Why You’ll Love Working at Maple Farm At Maple Farm you’ll be part of a purpose-driven team committed to compassion, respect, and integrity.
