The Corporate Responsibility Reporting Manager plays a critical role in shaping and communicating the organization's environmental, social, and governance reporting. This position leads the development, coordination, and delivery of all sustainability related reporting, including Corporate Sustainability Reporting (CSR) and disclosures, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reporting, and Sedex/SMETA compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with deep knowledge of sustainability frameworks, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations. This role reports to the Chief Wellbeing & Sustainable Business Officer. This is a hybrid role that requires the incumbent to live within sixty miles of the Battle Creek, Michigan Headquarter Office. Here's what you'll be doing: CSR Reporting Lead ongoing CSR reporting, including data collection, validation, analysis, and narrative development. Manage alignment with external reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements. Manage internal dashboards and KPIs to track sustainability performance across environmental, social, and governance pillars. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Monitor emerging regulations and disclosure requirements to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement. Extended Producer Responsibility Reporting Oversee all EPR reporting obligations across relevant jurisdictions. Maintain accurate records of product and packaging data to support regulatory filings. Coordinate with product development, packaging engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure data completeness and accuracy. Track regulatory changes and proactively prepare the organization for new or evolving EPR requirements. Manage relationships with Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs) and regulatory bodies. Sedex / Ethical Trade Compliance Lead Sedex data submissions and ensure ongoing compliance with SMETA audit requirements. Review audit findings and work with internal teams and suppliers to implement corrective action plans. Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for customer inquiries and compliance reviews. Data Management & Systems Develop and maintain robust systems for sustainability data governance, including data quality controls and audit trails. Evaluate and implement sustainability reporting tools or software to streamline data collection and reporting processes. Ensure documentation and reporting processes meet internal audit and external assurance standards. Stakeholder Engagement Prepare sustainability content for customers, regulatory bodies, and internal leadership. Support customer questionnaires, RFP and bid responses, and supply chain transparency requests. Partner with communications teams to develop sustainability messaging for websites, marketing materials, and internal communications. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Supply Chain, or related field; master's degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in sustainability reporting, CSR management, or regulatory compliance. Strong understanding of CSR frameworks, EPR regulations, and Sedex/SMETA requirements. Excellent analytical, organizational, and project-management skills. Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives. Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally. Proficiency with sustainability reporting tools, data management systems, and Excel/Power BI. Compensation Insights: Salary Range: $108,640.00 - $135,800.00 Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
