Part-Time Physician Assistant ? Rheumatology Clinic Location: Nashville, Tn Position Type: Part-Time Clinic Hours: 8am to 4 pm Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience About Us: We are a well-established, patient-focused Rheumatology clinic committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care for individuals with autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions. Our team is dedicated to excellence in diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of chronic rheumatic diseases in a supportive and collaborative environment. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have an interest or experience in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, or a related field and a strong desire to work in a collaborative outpatient setting. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient histories and physical exams Assist with diagnosing and managing rheumatologic conditions (e.g., RA, lupus, gout, OA) Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with the Rheumatologist Provide patient education on disease management and medications Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care planning Qualifications: Current and valid Physician Assistant license in Tenessee Certification by the NCCPA Prior experience in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty preferred (but not required) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills EMR proficiency , Nextgen preferred, and strong clinical judgment Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care Schedule: Part-time: [3-4 days per week] with potential to progress to full time No weekends or major holidays NO CALL 1-2 days/week of telemedicine (work from home) after initial training Benefits: Competitive compensation Malpractice coverage PTO, Sick time, paid holidays, Life insurance, long term disability insurance and 401k benefits after first year Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional development in Rheumatology Supervising MD always available Join us in making a difference in the lives of patients living with chronic rheumatic diseases.
