Job Title: Title Recording Specialist Salary Range: up to $30 per hour Primary Duties and Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently process and record legal documents, such as deeds, mortgages, and subordination agreements, into official public records. Ensure all documents and recorded information meet local statutory requirements and legal standards. Accurately calculate recording fees for submitted documents. Process recorded documents and ensure they are maintained accurately and within our Title Production Systems and delivered to our clients in a timely manner. Making corrections to any documents that are rejected then resubmitting for recording Provide exceptional service to clients and stakeholders, answering questions and resolving issues. Knowledge Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and title insurance principles is highly preferred. Prior Title Recording experience is highly preferred. Proficiency with Title Production Systems (SoftPro preferred), and Microsoft O????ice. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Skills and Abilities Attention to detail is essential for reviewing documents, verifying information, and preventing errors that could impact property ownership. The ability to manage large volumes of work, maintain accurate files, and meet tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
