As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine foot and bike patrols across assigned public areas, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff with professional customer service. You will document activities, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or responders, and help maintain order during day-to-day operations and special events, delivering service through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first culture. What You'll Do + Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures. + Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas, including public-facing spaces, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points as directed. + Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations and help to deter inappropriate behavior through visible presence and professional communication. + Respond to alarms, calls for service, disturbances, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from appropriate resources when needed. + Complete detailed reports and daily activity logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate key information during shift briefings and/or handoffs. Minimum Requirements + Be able to ride a bike. + Be able to lift more than 20 lbs. + A guard card and/or license is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
