Responsibilities incl: Collect & analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, & buying habits to identify potential mkts & factors affecting product demand. Forecast & track mktg & sales trends, analyzing collected data. Devise & eval methods & procedures for collecting data for review w/ the owner of the co. Seek & provide info to help the co. determine their position in the marketplace. Monitor industry statistics & follow trends in trade w/ the use of data avlble online. Prep reports of findings, illustrating data graphically & translating complex findings into written text. Dvlp & implmt procedures for identifying advertising needs. Dvlpg constructive & cooperative working relationships w/ members of the industry both nationally & int'lly. Periodically attend conferences in the sectors that the co. is focused on to dvlp new relationships & obtain new info that will ultimately help the co. dvlp & grow. Knowl of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook. Knowl of Adobe Acrobat s/ware reqd.
