HVAC Duct Leakage & Air Balance Technician

Job Description This role is responsible for performing duct leakage and air balancing testing of air conditioning systems. This employee should be safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in residential or commercial environments. Key Responsibilities Perform duct leakage and air balancing operations using specialized testing equipment Prepare and protect work areas before testing Inspect and identify problems and correct them during testing to meet municipal and energy star codes Be able to read manual J load calculations and adjust air flow to meet municipal and energy star codes Operate and maintain testing equipment Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and job-site protocols Work efficiently individually or part of a team and communicate clearly with supervisors Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly dispose of waste materials Travel to job sites in a company vehicle Work Environment Residential and Commercial job sites Exposure to dust, noise, and confined spaces (PPE provided) Hours • Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental/Vision insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off
