Medical Collections (AR Follow Up) Phoenix, AZ Pay: $20$22/hr. (W2) Type: Temp to Hire Schedule: MF, business hours (on site or hybrid per client) About the Role We're hiring a Medical Collections Specialist to work payer AR and accelerate cash. Ideal for pros who enjoy digging into denials, making payer calls, and cleaning up aging. What You'll Do Work AR aging and payer worklists; perform high volume follow up calls. Resolve denials (coordination of benefits, medical necessity, bundling, etc.); file appeals. Interpret EOB/ERAs, reconcile accounts, and request rebills/corrections. Track productivity/quality; document clear, complete account notes. What You'll Bring 1+ year in medical collections/AR with payer contact experience. Understanding of CPT/HCPCS & ICD-10 basics, payer portals, and common edits. Excel comfort (filters/sorts; pivots/VLOOKUP a plus); strong phone communication.
