If you are dedicated, detail‑oriented, and passionate about helping others, we would love to meet you!Position SummaryThe Medication Aide assists the licensed nursing staff by administering daily medications as prescribed, following all established nursing standards, facility policies, and state regulations. This role also supports resident well‑being by observing, documenting, and reporting any changes or concerns.Major Duties & Responsibilities Deliver oral, inhalation, and topical medications to residents under direct supervision of a licensed nurse, unless otherwise permitted by state regulations. Observe residents for adverse reactions and promptly report concerns to the nurse. Document all medication administration in accordance with company policies and procedures. Follow written and verbal instructions regarding medication management. Monitor and document changes in residents’ conditions. Perform tasks related to medication administration, including vital signs, medication dosage calculations, stocking medication carts, and removing discontinued medications. Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of medications. Required Qualifications Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Medication Aide certification. Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience or 2 years of experience as a Medication Aide. Strong understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology. Current CPR certification.
