Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Room, including staff management, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care. Lead and mentor the nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous professional development. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practices and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards. Monitor patient care outcomes and develop strategies for quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management. Act as a liaison between the ER and hospital administration, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for enhancing emergency services. Candidate requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in an emergency department, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) is preferred. TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) certification within 12 months of hire. Why work with us?
