2nd Shift Die Setter

Job Description: Die Setter Location: Milan, MI Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected Hours: 40 - 50 per week An established automotive supplier in Milan, MI, with operations in Roseville, MI, and Monterrey, MX, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Die Setter. Training Schedule: Day Shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm) for the first two weeks before transferring to the 2nd shift (3:30 pm - Midnight). Key Responsibilities: Die Setting and Machine Operation: Set up and install dies into machines, adjust machine settings, and operate machinery to ensure proper specifications and high-quality output. Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products to meet the stringent quality standards demanded by our customers. Documentation: Accurately complete all required documentation, including Standard Work Instructions and Quality checks. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with dies and machinery to minimize downtime. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all Federal and State Safety Regulations and company policies. Job Requirements: Experience: Proficient in pressroom operations, die setting, and operation of single hit, progressive, and transfer dies. Technical Skills: Skilled in Smart Pack and Feeder programming, PLCs, and familiar with Plex ERP software. Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Reliability: Must be dependable, committed to scheduled shifts, and willing to work overtime as needed.
