Production Operator - 2nd and 3rd Shift

Description Join the Production Operator team with Staff Management | SMX at Magna in Muncie, IN! As a Production Operator, you'll assemble and inspect drivetrain components using CNC machines, grinders, and spline rollers. Responsibilities include operating equipment, packaging and labeling parts, performing basic maintenance, and using inspection tools to ensure quality standards are met. You'll support production goals, step in during downtime or shortages, and help keep operations running smoothly. We're looking for safety-focused, dependable team players ready to learn and grow. Training is provided. Key Qualifications/Requirements: Must be able to work weekends and mandatory overtime. Experience in a manufacturing facility or industrial assembly operation preferred. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt rapidly to changing situations. Must excel at working in a team environment. This position requires that the person be a highly organized individual, who is self-motivated, and can work independently setting priorities without direct supervision. Experience in safety, quality, and housekeeping on the plant floor preferred.
