Job Description Summary: An organization is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role manages payroll systems, supports data integrity, and collaborates closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to meet organizational objectives. Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, including regular, overtime, union, bonus, and special compensation Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, tax, and hour regulations Maintain and update payroll systems to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity Prepare and submit payroll tax reports, filings, and payments within required deadlines Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies; respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and benefits Process garnishments, benefit deductions, and other payroll adjustments Generate payroll reports for management, finance, and audit purposes Collaborate with HR and Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and benefits administration Qualifications: Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, wage laws, and payroll processing best practices Experience managing payroll systems and maintaining accurate payroll data Ability to resolve issues with discretion, accuracy, and confidentiality Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience with payroll tax filings and reporting Prior experience handling garnishments, deductions, and multi-state payroll is beneficial Education & Experience: Relevant payroll, accounting, or HR experience required Prior experience in a payroll management or payroll lead role strongly preferred Compensation: Competitive salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience.
