Associate Veterinarian – Galena Park, Houston, TX $130,000–$180,000 Base Salary | Private Small Animal GP | $15,000+ Sign-On Bonus | Mentorship Focused | No On-Call A highly respected, privately owned small animal general practice veterinary hospital in Galena Park, Houston, TX is growing and looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to the team. Privately owned hospital serving the community for over 20 years Working directly with the DVM/Owner, who has a genuine passion for mentorship and developing confident clinicians Genuine opportunities to secure an equity share for ambitious applicants Employer is highly flexible, offering both full-time and part-time options to suit the successful applicant Freedom to enjoy a diary that can be tailored, if you prefer, toward your areas of clinical interest Realistic earning potential of $180,000–$200,000 via a well-established diary and negotiable ProSal structure $15,000+ sign-on bonus available 3:1 technician-to-doctor ratio 20–40 minute appointment times to support high-quality patient care, depending on patient requirements Schedule & Work–Life Balance Roster: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM mid-week 4 days per week Alternating Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM 1.5-hour lunch breaks provided mid-week No out-of-hours, emergency, or on-call duties Full-time or part-time options available Hospital Services & Equipment Digital radiography Ultrasound In-house laboratory Cytology / microscopy ECG Dentistry with dental radiography Dermatology Orthopedic and soft tissue surgery Pain management Preventative and wellness care Behavior consultations Team & Culture Stable, experienced support staff with a strong client-care mindset Collaborative, respectful workplace where veterinarians are valued Long-term partnership or investment opportunities available for interested candidates (optional) Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $130,000–$180,000 (commensurate with experience) Fully negotiable ProSal scheme CE allowance provided and fully negotiable 2 weeks PTO plus 1 week CE leave Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits Discounted gym membership Professional membership fee allowance ✅ Ideal Candidate Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice veterinary medicine in Texas Interest in small animal general practice Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset 1–2 years post-graduate experience required If you’re seeking a supportive private practice, a balanced schedule, and the opportunity to grow your skills while delivering excellent patient care, we’d love to hear from you.
