Position Type: Substitute/Substitute Nurse Date Posted: 7/1/2025 Location: Colonial Heights Public Schools Closing Date: Continuous Substitute School Nurse Description: Substitute nursing positions are for those applicants who desire to work on a "call-in" basis to cover for contractual employees in a school nurse position. Requirements for the Position (applications will not be considered complete until all items are received) Completion of an application Copy of your current RN or LPN License must be on file Three (3) written references Background Checks: The requirement of criminal and social service background checks are required for all positions within the Colonial Heights Public Schools. There are no exceptions to this requirement.Daily Pay Rates: Substitute Registered Nurses (RN's) are paid at a rate of $125 per day Substitute Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN's) are paid at a rate of $110 per day. Hiring Dates for New Substitutes: Applicants will be hired during the months of August - November and during the months of January - March
