Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - CVICU Job Details: • 13-week contract assignment • Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • ECMO experience required • No call requirements • Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per schedule for night shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) • Patient ratios: 2:1 and 1:1 • Navy scrubs required • Work with GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Centrimag ECMO Circuits, Impella CP & 5.5, Prismax CRRT machines, Tablo SLED machines, and Maquet Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps • Must have experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms • Must have experience with titratable drips • Must understand hemodynamics • Must have experience with respiratory patients including vents, BiPap, trachs, and airway management • Must have experience with open heart surgery recovery • Must have experience with ECMO, Impella, and balloon pumps • Must have experience with CRRT/SLED • EMR system: Meditech • Typical procedures include central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and intubations • Must be a team player with positive attitude and adaptability Facility: This healthcare facility operates an 8-bed CVICU located on the 4th floor with a staff of 25 professionals.
