Applied Science Intern (Climate Science, Environmental Research)About Carbon MapperCarbon Mapper is a non-profit organization based in Pasadena, CA with the mission to drive greenhouse gas emission reductions by making methane and carbon dioxide data accessible and actionable. To do this, we work with partners to leverage a constellation of satellites. Focus areas may include coal, oil and gas, waste, or other emissions sectors. The intern will work with a Carbon Mapper scientist to define a short summer research project and conduct analysis that contributes to broader research initiatives. This internship is intended to be a full-time summer position lasting approximately 1012 weeks, with flexible start and end dates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities       Collaborate with Carbon Mapper scientists to develop a research project aligned with Carbon Mappers Applied Science research priorities.
