Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.ResponsibilitiesEnter financial data and transactionsVerify the accuracy of transactions that have been enteredPrepare monthly P & LPrepare weekly payroll through ADPProcess accounts payable and accounts receivableComplete required tax formsPrepare employee health benefits and 401kLearn the companies POS systemQualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting or a related fieldPrevious experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar positionKnowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Online, and basic accounting systemsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
