Description: This position is with Shawnee Health and will service Shawnee Health in Marion, Illinois (Williamson County) We are looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is passionate about providing high-quality, comprehensive care to all individuals. Responsibilities include: Providing comprehensive preventive care and education for patients of all ages Diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions including chronic disease and illnesses Providing women's health services and family planning Prescribing and managing patient medications Ordering tests and initiating internal and external referrals Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely patient records and contribute to organizational metrics and quality measures Collaborate with a team of health professionals to ensure high-quality patient care Requirements/Qualifications: Highly interested in providing family oriented primary care to patients from infant to older age Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Computer literacy/maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records Support the mission and values of Shawnee Health Education & Training A Nurse Practitioner Master's Degree or Physician Assistant Master's Degree Board Certification in appropriate field Current State of Illinois, controlled substance, and Federal DEA licensure Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in Family Medicine with the above certification.
