Job Details: Industry: Insurance Job Title: UX Designer/ Product Designer Duration: 10+ Months Location: REMOTE - EST Job Description: We are seeking a Mid-to-Senior Level UX Product Designer to support the Insurance Professional Servicing portfolio. This role focuses on modernizing servicing tools used by Customer Service Representatives and Independent Agents across Personal Lines and Small Commercial Lines. The designer will be embedded within cross-functional, agile product squads to help transform complex, legacy ecosystems through reimagination and re-platforming. The work centers on designing robust, power-user tools that prioritize usability, efficiency, scalability, and compliance within a highly regulated environment. Roles & Responsibilities: Collaborate within cross-functional agile product squads to design and deliver user-centered servicing tools. Lead end-to-end design processes including research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and validation. Apply strong design thinking methodologies to solve complex and ambiguous product challenges. Design scalable, efficient, and intuitive power-user workflows for agents and customer service representatives. Participate in daily agile ceremonies and partner closely with product owners, engineers, and content designers. Conduct and contribute to user research, concept testing, and usability testing initiatives. Synthesize user insights, business requirements, and technical constraints into actionable design solutions. Coordinate across multiple product teams to ensure seamless and consistent user experiences. Navigate legacy systems and contribute to modernization and re-platforming initiatives. Communicate and defend design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support both Personal Lines and Small Commercial experiences based on business priorities. Must Have: 5+ years of experience in UX/Product Design. Strong foundation in design thinking and human-centered design principles. Proven experience designing complex enterprise or power-user tools. Experience working in agile product environments. Ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces and solve systemic design challenges. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Experience conducting or participating in user research and usability testing. Exceptional communication and presentation skills (portfolio presentation required).
