Industrial Project Manager - Electric Utilities CDM Smith Industrial Division is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead project engineering teams on important design projects in the utility market. This role will involve consulting, engineering, and design-build projects for utilities in areas including T&D, substation, generation, civil works, geothermal, geotechnical, and environmental projects for multiple major clients in the domestic United States. The successful candidate will lead utility clients and project teams in the implementation of power grid upgrades, expansion, resilience, and sustaining capital projects, while complying with environmental and regulatory requirements. As a member of the Industrial team, you will: Manage small to large complex engineering projects within the utility market from early concept development through detailed design and construction support. Lead and manage a team to develop scope, schedule, and budget for proposal development. Lead and manage a multi-discipline engineering and compliance team to deliver required compliance and engineering deliverables. Manage quality, risk, schedule, and change management. Serve as a mentor and leader of multi-discipline project teams. Perform and lead technical problem solving with a team of multi-discipline engineers. Serve as the main client contact and liaison during project execution. Identify opportunities with existing clients, particularly by expanding service offerings. Apply experience and innovation to solve problems of high complexity in area of expertise. Effectively work with lead practitioners, quality managers, and key technical specialists. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. 10 years of related experience. PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Pay Range Minimum: $90,605 Pay Range Maximum: $158,579 Work Location Options: Hybrid Work Options may be considered.
