Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (New Grads are Accepted)- Lewisville, TX Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Full Job Description: We are seeking a physician assistant (PA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Assist the supervising neurosurgeon in the OR Conduct physical exams, pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications Manage patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and clinic setting Evaluate patient problems in person or via phone and provide appropriate intervention or referral Counsel patients and their families on preventive health care Plan treatment and document information using eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR Maintain accurate patient records and ensure efficient data management using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Responsible for coding and compliance regarding charges generated Collaborate with the neurosurgeon to develop and implement patient care plans. Qualifications Texas licensed & Board-Certified Physician Assistant Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program The PA will be currently licensed to practice as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times The PA will report to the physician and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
