Job Summary Minnesota Housing is hiring! We're a mission-focused financial institution looking for an Executive Assistant who will provide executive-level administrative and operational support to the Assistant Commissioner/Executive Director and helps coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Minnesota Interagency Council on Homelessness. The role plays a key part in keeping interagency work moving smoothly by managing coordination, communications, and operational processes that support MICH's mission. Essential Job Duties Provide executive-level administrative and operational support to MICH leadership. Coordinate council operations, meetings, and interagency communications. Support budget monitoring and administrative coordination in partnership with finance and contracts staff. Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including the Governor's Office and Legislature. Manage records, document systems, and information flow to support effective council operations. Support communications, accessibility, and information-sharing efforts across MICH and partner agencies. Represent MICH in internal coordination meetings and support cross-functional collaboration. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications To be qualified for and considered for this position, applicants must meet all of the minimum qualifications listed below. Knowledge of standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases sufficient to create, modify, and protect files. Skill in analyzing, interpreting, reconciling, and preparing financial information, records, and reports; identify errors; and recommend solutions to procedural or other fiscal problems. Ability to document and record information sufficient to maintain electronic or paper files for efficient organization and retrieval of information. Skill in customer service sufficient to convey complicated information in an understandable manner as a resource for outside agencies, for clients, coworkers, and customers - Extensive administrative and organizational skill.
