Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

A recognized healthcare organization in Missouri is actively seeking a licensed Psychiatrist to join one of its inpatient facilities in St. Louis County. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday to Friday (1 weekend per month) Hours: 8am to 4:30pm (8-hour days, 30-minute unpaid lunch) Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry Responsibilities: Performing 24-hour evaluations Conducting psychological and psycho-educational testing Providing electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) Evaluating psychiatric, behavioral, or addictive disorders Managing acute psychiatric conditions Qualifications: Must have relevant experience in an Acute Psychiatric Unit M.D./D.O. degree with Psychiatry residency BLS Certified Missouri or IMLC Medical License EPIC EMR proficiency Knowledge of pharmacotherapy and other treatment techniques Strong analytical skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team Desired Skills: Experience with ECT treatment Mental Health specialization Proficiency in Spanish or another relevant language by Jobble
