Job Description Provides essential structure and support to the Entertainment AV team with daily operations and projects of various scale, including daily park entertainment, marquee events, placemaking efforts, and special projects. For each, works with the team on driving the production process forward with an emphasis on organizational skills, documentation, and communication. Essential Functions Provide daily supervision of the duties, priorities, and workflows of Entertainment Audio/Video group, including Entertainment Technical Services (ETS) sub-group. Provide direct personnel supervision of the Entertainment Technical team, including scheduling, investigations, discipline, etc. Support, in conjunction with Senior Management, the transition, development and expansion of the Audio/Video group with multiple sub-groups including, but not limited to, Entertainment Technical Services, Technical Services partnership, Audio/Video Production Coordinator pool, Media Designers, Project-Hire staff, and Audio Mixers. Support the development, organization, and distribution of all processes between the Entertainment Technical group and Technical Services department, ensuring streamlined communication and successful partnerships. Assist AV management with inter and intra-departmental communication and interaction, to include initiating processes which facilitate improvements and efficiencies. Provide assistance with the equipment procurement process. Attend project meetings to oversee communication and workflows, reporting back to the A/V team. Support Audio & Video system design drafting and the creation of technical package documentation. Supervise asset delivery and recovery during production and strike phases of events. Supervise A/V team assignments, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Provide support for recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of project-hire staff. Supervise use of A/V locations at both USH and the Entertainment Production Center, including audio/video inventory. Provide liaison support between the A/V team and other departments when applicable. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 3 years' experience in theatrical or entertainment production. Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills. Ability to plan and prioritize projects, schedules, and workflows. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as required. Desired Characteristics Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Performing Arts, Stage Management, Entertainment Technical Production, or equivalent experience in the related fields. Solid understanding of the production process of live entertainment within and around theme park environments. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, with confidence to multi-task and delegate as required. Ability to achieve results through the execution of strategies and processes. Ability to identify and communicate creative solutions to challenges and maintain a consistent focus on priorities with persistent follow-through. Confidence to effectively communicate across all lines of business, and with all levels of management. Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail. Ability to deal well with ambiguity and constant change, working in fast-paced environments with accelerated production schedules. A strong passion to drive high quality results for both the end-product, as well as the process.
