Internal Medicine - Geriatrics Physician

Docstar is working with a client of ours that is looking for a Locum Geriatrics Physician on a Locum Tenens basis. Schedule: Depending on location, 730a-430p schedule OR 8a-5p schedule, Monday Friday. No nights, no weekends, no rounding. Setting: All outpatient clinic. Support Staff: RN, MA, front office. Social workers and specialists (cardiology, podiatry, acupuncture) at locum s disposal. On site labs, x-ray, and pharmacy. Patient Volume: Approx. 18/day with potential of up to 3 walk-in s/day on top of the 18. Cases: Client described as high acuity . Senior citizens who may have COPD, diabetes, mental disorders, heart failure issues. Majority Medicare/Medicaid patients.
