Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner

Key Responsibilities Provide advanced clinical care for patients undergoing bone marrow and stem cell transplantation Manage hematologic and oncologic patient populations Perform patient assessments, follow-ups, and treatment planning Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging Prescribe medications and manage supportive care Collaborate with hematologists, oncologists, transplant physicians, nursing staff, and support teams Participate in patient education, survivorship care, and care coordination Support clinical research protocols when applicable Required Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner license National Board Certification (ANCC / AANP) Proven experience in Hematology/Oncology Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) or Stem Cell Transplant experience required Strong knowledge of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and transplant protocols Excellent communication and patient-care skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in academic medical centers or transplant-focused programs Oncology certification (OCN or related) preferred but not required Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license Compensation & Benefits Competitive, market-based salary Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance CME allowance and paid time off Retirement plans with employer contributions Full malpractice insurance with tail coverage Relocation assistance (if applicable)
