Job Title: Controls Technician Location: Anderson, SC (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $30-$35 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential. 2-2-3 Night Shift. Must rotate days/nights every two weeks Are you ready to take your technical skills to the next level in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment? We're seeking a Controls Technician who thrives on solving complex problems and keeping production running at peak performance. The primary purpose of this role is to troubleshoot and maintain controls components and systems for production and associated utility equipment to insure highest reliability, proper line performance, and safe operation. Be the go-to expert for troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs, HMIs, Servo systems, and electrical components. Enjoy competitive pay, excellent benefits starting day one, and opportunities for growth. What You'll Be Doing Troubleshoots, repairs, replaces, and calibrates electrical sensors including photoelectric, inductive, capacitive, magnetic, pressure, temperature, weight, and position sensors. Troubleshoots, repairs, replaces, and commissions all electrical control devices including AC drives, DC drives, Servo Controllers, contactors, motors, breakers, solenoids power supplies and indicator lights. Troubleshoots, repairs, replaces, and commissions all PLC/HMI based hardware including processors, discrete and analog I/O cards, power supplies, network adapters, Distributed I/O, dedicated operator interfaces such as PanelView, PC based interfaces and message displays such as FactoryTalkView. Partnering with Engineering and Maintenance to improve uptime. Collaborating with peers and management on process improvement and automation upgrades. What We're Looking For You may be currently be working as a: Controls Technician PLC Technician Industrial Electrician Automation Technician I&E Technician Maintenance Electrician (with strong electrical/PLC experience) Ideal background includes: High School Diploma with Associates Degree in electronics or equivalent. Preferred 1-3 years of industrial experience. PLC troubleshooting experience in manufacturing Strong industrial electrical knowledge Ability to read electrical schematics Experience in high-speed production environments is a plus Must be committed to working the 2-2-3 shift, rotating between days and nights every two weeks.
