Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract job with a client in Atlanta, GA. The position requires handson experience in Sterling Commerce OMS, including architecture, implementation, CI/CD governance, and multisystem integration. The ideal candidate will lead OMS solution design, technical governance, and enterprisescale delivery. Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Solution Architect job responsibilities include: • Define endtoend OMS solution architecture leveraging Sterling OMS modules including Distributed Order Management, SIP, Logistics, Supplier Collaboration, and Reverse Logistics. • Drive assessments across all OMS modules aligned to enterprise target architecture. • Design integration strategies with ERP, WMS, CRM, ecommerce, payment, tax, and logistics platforms. • Prepare and review highlevel and lowlevel design documentation and lead architecture reviews. • Lead implementation and customization of OMS pipelines, participant models, inventory, order routing, pricing, and payment flows. • Guide integration with both inhouse and thirdparty systems. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and leadership to align architecture with business strategy. • Present solution options, roadmaps, and fitgap analyses to senior leadership. • Lead solution implementation including design, coding, testing, UAT, release, and postproduction support. Desired Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 15+ years of IT experience, including 10+ years in OMS architecture and implementation. • Proven track record delivering multiple Sterling OMS implementations for large enterprise retailers. • Strong handson expertise customizing DOM, Pricing, Inventory, Call Center, Store, and Supplier Collaboration modules. • Experience with NextGen OMoC 2.0, and nextgen call center & store order management. • Strong understanding of order lifecycle, procurement flows, inventory, invoicing, tax integrations, payments, and reverse logistics. • Experience with Agile methodology and leading crossfunctional teams. • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience with cloud platforms, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), Kafka, MQ, and observability tools (Good to Have). • IBM OMS Certifications preferred.
