Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. This opportunity offers a rewarding contract position for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school settings, located in Camp Lejeune, NC. The role focuses on providing occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students within a school environment, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to elementary students. Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans. Support students in improving their functional skills to enhance academic performance and daily activities. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the educational program. Qualifications and Experience: Valid and current NC Occupational Therapy licensure/certification is required. Experience providing occupational therapy services within school settings is highly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and school-based intervention strategies. Commitment to supporting the developmental needs of elementary-aged children. Location and Schedule: Position is based in Camp Lejeune, NC. Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week, spread across 5 days. Contract duration extends through the end of the current school year.
