Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a full-service commercial office furniture and workplace design firm to find a Project Manager to join their team. In this role, all aspects of client projects are managed, from planning and coordination to on-site execution and project closeout. Serving as the single point of contact, the Project Manager ensures schedules, installations, and deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. This is a hybrid opportunity in Washington, DC 20001, requiring onsite travel to client locations in the surrounding area. Responsibilities: Define project plans and manage schedules, budgets, and logistics. Review bids, specifications, drawings, and manufacturer orders for accuracy. Maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports and meeting notes. Coordinate with clients, dealers, and third-party partners as the main point of contact. Supervise on-site installation and ensure quality, timelines, and client satisfaction. Conduct punch lists, replacements, and final walkthroughs to confirm project completion. Identify unique site conditions and proactively address potential challenges. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Experience managing commercial furniture or interior projects. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Hands-on experience with installations and client-facing project management.
