Registration Representative Location: Laguna Hills, CA Department: Breast Center Status: Full time Shift: Variable (8hr shifts) Pay Range: $22.50/hr - $31.57/hr This is a full-time position, variable 8hr shifts can range from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday half days. Optional overtime pending department needs. The position will require rotating through 4 different sites (Laguna Hills, Barranca Irvine, Sand Canyon Irvine and Rancho Mission Viejo) to assist with vacation relief. Primary location is Laguna Hills. Position Summary The Registration/Pre-Registration Representative is responsible for completing all registrations of patients presenting for procedures, admissions, or the ER. The Representative must collect and verify demographic and insurance information to accurately identify and bill the patient for their services. Excellent customer service must be maintained with all patients and co-workers. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Medical Center. Minimum Requirements 1-2 years of Medical Office/Admitting/Registration or equivalent healthcare experience preferred Computer skills required. High School Graduate preferred Medical Terminology preferred.
