Water Mitigation Technician

Mitigation Technician Regent Restoration is seeking passionate, dedicated individuals to join our fast-growing team as Water Restoration Technicians. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with the expectation of overtime as required to support business needs. As our company operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, candidates must be flexible with scheduling, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis. WRT certification paid for after 6 months. ASD certification paid for after 1 year. Key Responsibilities: Perform water damage mitigation and restoration services. Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction. Conduct basic maintenance of equipment and vehicles. Inspect completed work and ensure quality standards are met. Complete technician's daily log and necessary documentation. Maintain the appearance and inventory of company vehicles and supplies. Determine the sequence of steps to be taken when delivering the company's services at the customer's property. Maintain timely and effective communication and flow of information with Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Managers. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. 1+ year of experience in water damage restoration (preferred). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Certification in Water Mitigation or Mold Remediation (or willingness to get certified). Basic proficiency with computers, email, and mobile devices for reporting and documentation. Basic English reading and writing skills required. Good mathematical skills to determine appropriate equipment and techniques. Basic knowledge of water, fire, and mold damage mitigation principles. Ability to operate mitigation equipment safely and effectively. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces. Planning & Organizing: Ability to prioritize tasks and pay attention to detail. Technical Skills: Adequately trained and certified to perform water mitigation services. Quality: Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of work. Written Communication Writes clear and accurate job notes and emails. The individual is able to read and interpret written information. Uses appropriate vocabulary and grammar. Planning & Organizing Plans and organizes work activities considering the nature of the job at hand. Focuses on key priorities and pays attention to details.
