Burke - Facility Tech

2nd Shift: 6:00PM - 6:00AM - 3/2/2 SchedulePay Rate: $22.25 to $31.00/hr (based on experience)The primary role of the facility technician is to continuously improve the reliability, efficiency and maintenance of the Building/Grounds and support equipment.Knows and follows HACCP program and principles, USDA guidelines, and Good Manufacturing PracticesAll team members must abide by all of Burke's Plant Safety Rules!RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains tool room equipment regarding plates, knives and blades; performs routine preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and physical structures, and on the plumbing, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems; Ensures safe and optimum functioning equipment; systems, and processes . Performs set up/tear down of process equipment daily. Facility rounds to inspect and record various repairs needed. Inspects facility safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems to insure compliance is always maintained. Will be required to work with and develop equipment and ideas deemed to be confidential information and/or trade secrets owned by the company. This person will be required to protect the company's rights in and ownership of those trade secrets and confidential information QUALIFICATIONS: One-year experience in facility maintenance and repair Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
