Estimator

The Estimator is responsible for the preparation of complete and accurate estimates for each phase of the projects design. This position works with clients, architects/engineers, and subcontractors/suppliers to plan cost factors for building projects. This position analyzes construction documents, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects. Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of degree/certification At least five (5) years estimating experience preferred. Ability to read and understand contracts and engineering and architectural drawings and specifications. Strong analytical skills Demonstrated ability in these areas: interpersonal skills; computer skills; ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the project, both written and oral.
