Locums - Medical Oncology - Greenville, South CarolinaAssignment Overview ASAP - Ongoing Need Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center Reason for Coverage: Loss of provider 4-week availability each month, with 4 days of availability each week. Must be able to work for at least 6 month initial contract Call Information Locum Period: No call required Permanent Placement: Call expected Call Schedule: 1 week every 6-8 weeks Call Ratio: 1 week every 6-8 weeks Patient Population Adult Geriatric Practice Composition 65% Benign Hematology 35% Malignant Oncology 0% Internal Medicine Team Structure Physicians: 7 APPs: 6 Patient Volume Outpatient: 25 patients per day Inpatient (Call/Rounding): 20 patients per day Clinical Scope Oncology - Outpatient Setting Oncology - Inpatient Setting Participation on Tumor Board Management of Bone Marrow Transplants Blood Bank involvement Order tests and imaging Prescribing responsibilities Chemotherapy Administration: Nurse Oncologist Technology EMR: EPIC Required Qualifications (No Exceptions) Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology - Required Active South Carolina license (will accept providers needing to obtain) - Required BLS & DEA - Required Clean background required for emergency temps - Required Why RecruitWell?
