Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for performing accurate material take-offs, preparing cost estimates, coordinating with vendors, and supporting project execution through material tracking and procurement oversight. The ideal candidate understands custom residential construction and thrives in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed material take-offs from architectural and interior design drawings Utilize Bluebeam software for quantity take-offs Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for trim carpentry scopes Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, and lead times Track material orders, deliveries, and changes throughout the project lifecycle Assist with scope clarification and bid revisions as needed Maintain organized digital records of estimates, quotes, and correspondence Qualifications Experience in residential construction estimating (trim carpentry experience strongly preferred) Proficiency in Bluebeam Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general estimating tools Preferred Attributes Experience working on high-end custom homes Familiarity with millwork packages, custom details, and specialty materials Proactive, solution-oriented mindset What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity to work on highly detailed projects Collaborative, craftsmanship-focused team environment Growth opportunities within a specialized trade
