CNC Machinist

Job Full Description NOW HIRING: CNC Machinist Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay: $27-$33 per hour (based on experience) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Position We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role requires the ability to program, set up, and run CNC lathes and mills while working directly from shop machining drawings. The ideal candidate consistently produces high-quality, precision parts and is comfortable working with tight tolerances in a heavy industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret shop machining drawings Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills Hold tolerances to within .0005" Produce accurate, high-quality parts that meet specifications Perform machine setup, offsets, and tool changes Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment Follow all safety procedures and maintain an orderly work area Expected Results Consistently produce high-quality, accurate parts Meet production and quality standards with minimal rework Maintain safe and efficient machining operations Skills Required Proficient with measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gauges Ability to work safely in a heavy industrial environment Strong understanding of CNC machining processes Ability to set up and run CNC lathes and mills from shop drawings Experience Required Previous CNC programming experience required Proven ability to read and interpret shop drawings Hands-on experience in CNC machining operations Equipment & Programming Program directly at the machine using G-Code Experience programming and operating CNC machines with: Fagor Fanuc Haas Heidenhain Programming completed without the use of CAM software Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Ability to stand and work for extended periods Additional Information Travel Required: None Supervisory Responsibility: None Why Join Us Competitive hourly pay based on experience Excellent benefits package upon full-time hire, including: 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Stable schedule with long-term career opportunity Precision machining environment with modern equipment To Apply: Text "CNC" to 804-261-4170 or email Matthew a copy of your resume - Richmond, VA (North-West End) 2441 2120 Staples Mill Road Suite 301 Richmond, VA 23230
