Maintenance Compliance and Conformity Inspector Contour is a long-established aviation services company with a diverse range of capabilities. This position is responsible for auditing documentation and component certifications for record keeping and maintenance tracking purposes. In addition, the Maintenance Compliance and Conformity Inspector is responsible for assisting the Director of Technical Services and Quality Control with the daily operation of the Maintenance Quality Control Department. The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, have strong verbal and written communication skills and have previous experience with aircraft records and maintenance tracking software. Key responsibilities include: Audit aircraft, engines, landing gear, APU, other assemblies, and components for: Federal Aviation Administration Airworthiness Directives Scheduled routine maintenance tasks Assembly and part life limited status Assembly and part overhaul status Research major repairs for correct documentation and instructions for continued airworthiness. Major alterations for correct documentation and instructions for continued airworthiness. Supplemental Type Certificates for correct documentation and instructions for continued airworthiness. Assist the Director of Technical Services and Quality Control with aircraft conformity Ensure maintenance tracking compliance Perform other duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications include: Must be at least 18 years of age. FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification. Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills. Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the country without restrictions. Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently; proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required. High school diploma or GED certification preferred. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, including Office 365, Excel, Outlook, and Word; familiarity with similar software applications is also required. Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude. Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to effectively interact with a variety of personalities while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Skilled in coordinating multiple priorities, managing deadlines, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle interruptions and changing priorities with flexibility and a strong attention to detail. Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, delivered with professionalism and tact. Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screening and be willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company-mandated random drug and alcohol testing. Ability to pass a 10-year work history background check, as well as criminal history and fingerprint checks, as required by the TSA. Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts as operational needs dictate. Must adhere to all safety regulations and work in a professional manner, complying with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Prior airline experience preferred. Prior experience working with aircraft records preferred. Prior experience working with aircraft records software (Veryon, CAMP, etc.) preferred.
