Tint Specialist

Tint Specialist Position Summary: A Tint Specialist provides customer service in the form of color-matching stains/paints/glazes. The Tint Specialist will also be responsible for making sure the Lacquer orders get pulled and put on the trucks properly. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Mixing and Matching of Stains and Pigmented Lacquers Perform required quality control checks for all outgoing tinted items Maintain in-depth and detailed records of colors developed as outlined in the Tint Station Operations Manual Stocking Items Supporting Lacquer Specialist and Sales Team Pull, Catalyze, Shake, and stage truck orders for Finish Maintain a clean work environment Keep an accurate log of any pour-offs of bad material and deposit into the waste drum and keep it labeled appropriately Perform other duties as required and assigned Qualifications, Skills & Abilities: Have previous work experience selling paint and paint related products Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment Knowledge or Experience in working with Lacquer/Colors/Stain development Ability to see color (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow) Knowledge of wood products such as species, plywood, lumber Strong computer skills Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to work independently Ability to Communicate effectively with internal and external customers Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Supplemental benefits Company-paid life insurance Company-paid Short Term and Long Term disability Eligible for 401k first day of employment Company match on 401k
