CNC Set-Up Technician (Day & Evening Shifts)

CNC SET-UP TECHNICIAN Plymouth, MI area. DIRECT HIRE - Night ShiftShifts Available: Evenings: 6pm-5:30am, Monday-Thursday, with possible OT on Fridays Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC for the machining of castings. Change out tooling inserts, perform offsets and program edits as needed. Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions and programming errors. Set up CNC calibration and alignments. Document setups, tool changes, and adjustments made during production. Read and interpret blueprints as needed. Requirements: Experience with machining castings on mills, lathes or grinders is required. Familiar with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls - ideally. Mechanical knowledge and bore gauge experience - preferred.
