Occupational Therapist Job Details Location: Windsor, Vermont (VT 05089) - Vermont OT jobs Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit Employment Type: Travel Contract Start Date: March 30, 2026 End Date: May 25, 2026 Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Days, 8:00am - 4:30pm Hours per Week: 40 hours Estimated Weekly Salary: $1830-$1970 Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holidays as needed Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable) Vehicle Required: Must have own transportation (no public transport available) Occupational Therapist Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient or acute Occupational Therapy experience Experience working independently in a Critical Access hospital setting Travel OT experience highly preferred Proficiency with Cerner EMR required Active Vermont Occupational Therapy license (must be uploaded with profile) Current American Heart Association BLS certification Skills Checklist for Occupational Therapy (within past year) 1 Supervisory Signed Reference from the past two years Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application Local travelers (within 50 miles) are not eligible for this Vermont healthcare job Occupational Therapist Responsibilities Deliver occupational therapy treatments to patients based on individualized evaluation and care plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records Assist with in-services, staff education, and community health programs Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development as an OT Experience the charm of Windsor, Vermont while growing your occupational therapy career in a supportive inpatient hospital environment.
