Job description: Ensure compliance with and stay up to date on US regulations governing renewable energy projects and the import of equipment. Develop legal and commercial solutions to meet regulatory requirements. Work with customers to structure solutions tailored to their equipment and project needs. Draft a range of contracts and other legal documents. Provide internal clients with advice on risk, compliance, and the regulatory environment. Manage general legal administrative tasks, including filings in the US. Engage with regulators regarding regulatory changes and developments. Support M&A, projects, finance, and general corporate law matters. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years experience in-house, at a law firm, or in government, with at least 2 years post-qualification. Proven 3+ years paralegal experience with a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures. Native English speaker with excellent communication skills. Good understanding of international laws. Strong document drafting and commercial negotiation abilities. Proficiency in project management, capable of handling multiple cases efficiently. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Law School.
