Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager and Product Owner to lead product strategy, technical backlog management, and end-to-end delivery across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. In this role, you will define the product vision and roadmap, align initiatives with business objectives, and make strategic decisions regarding feature prioritization, technical debt, and resource allocation. You will manage the product backlog, ensuring user stories, epics, and technical tasks are well-defined and incorporate considerations for performance, scalability, security, and architecture. Acting as the primary liaison among business stakeholders, development, DevOps, architecture, security, and QA teams, you will provide technical guidance, oversee system design discussions, and ensure solutions meet enterprise standards. You will plan, execute, and monitor IT projects using PMP and Agile methodologies, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation while fostering effective communication and collaboration across teams. Additionally, you will support cloud migration initiatives, infrastructure governance, regulatory compliance, and QA processes, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and sustainable project outcomes. Required Skill A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management or product ownership roles, with strong knowledge of system architecture, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps practices. Proven experience in planning and delivering complex IT initiatives using Agile, PMP, or hybrid methodologies. Strong stakeholder management, risk management, and communication skills. Experience in regulated industries, preferably financial services, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. PMP certification is preferred, with additional Agile certifications such as CSPO, SAFe, or PMI-ACP considered a plus. Desired Skill Experience leading initiatives across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud platforms, including modernization and cloud migration projects. Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO. Familiarity with project and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Ability to oversee QA governance, audit readiness, and disaster recovery planning. Demonstrated capability to drive process improvements, continuous delivery, and operational excellence within technical teams.
