Founded in 2017, Hello Neighbor empowers refugees and immigrants through community connections, helping them move from arrival to belonging with dignity, cultural sensitivity, and meaningful support. Our work is organized across three departmentsEducation & Community Empowerment, Health & Stabilization, and Employmenteach running programs designed to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve. In addition to our local work, we lead a National Network of grassroots organizations across the U.S., united by a shared commitment to supporting refugee and immigrant families and inspiring long-term change.This is an in-house full-time, non-exempt position at our Pittsburgh, PA office in Larimer. We are currently on a hybrid work schedule of 9am-5pm Monday through Friday; in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The successful candidate must be currently authorized to work in the United States.Reports To: Director of Family Health ServicesDirect Reports: 3 case managers and case aides. Additional reports as neededKey Responsibilities:Provide assignment of tasks to direct service staff through individual supervisory sessions, team meetings, peer supervision Ensure program compliance and quality assurance as required by Hello Neighbor, USCRI, and ORR. This includes preparing and implementing service plans, and ensuring that key documents (service agreements, grievance procedures, disbursement records, etc) are signed and uploaded to the HN database.Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator on the recruitment and deployment of volunteer groups like Welcome Circles in support of vulnerable familiesReview client records and reports to ensure high quality of service delivery Assist staff in recruitment, development, nurturing and maintaining relationships with landlords, volunteers, Welcome Circles and additional community engagementOversee closing of cases in compliance with federal grant requirements, monitoring and performance standardsLead team members and collaborate with service providers to address, mediate, and resolve issues as needed.Advocate for culturally-appropriate care standards and utilize interpretation and translation services for families as needed.Organize activities to help clients feel a sense of belonging & integrate into the community.Utilize personal experiences to build collective knowledge, model behavior, and foster a sense of belonging among newer immigrant families.Build cultural bridges, connecting communities and providing extended cultural orientation.Assist with scheduling and bus and MATP orientation for client independence.Assist with crisis management in collaboration with the team.Attend supervision and relevant staff meetings.Maintain accurate and timely program documentation while adhering to confidentiality guidelines and handling sensitive information properly.Complete other duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications:Bilingual or multilingual in priority language preferred (Dari, Pashto, Arabic, Swahili, French, Spanish, Haitian-Creole, Rohingya) Bachelors Degree in a related field and/or 4+ years of refugee resettlement or related field experience Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.Demonstrated experience in coordinating and leading teams and working across different organizations effectively.Prior experience with teaching, training, or group facilitation preferred; digital literacy, ability to learn new software, Comfort in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, characterized by compassionate, courteous, cordial, and professional interactions with diverse colleagues, program members, and the communityImplements cultural humility and empathy in management of direct reports and client cases, and fosters team approach among direct reportsExperience in resettling refugees a strong plusPossesses cultural competencies, encompassing knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors relevant to the communities servedThorough understanding of issues pertinent to refugees and immigrantsDigital literacy and the ability to learn new softwareFlexibility and ability to work nights and weekends as necessaryEffective collaboration with others through cooperative effortsAlignment with and support of Hello Neighbors core valuesCar, valid drivers license, and proof of insurance.About You:Energetic, motivated, and hardworkingAbility to coordinate teams, provide focus, and work collaborativelyAbility to take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects at a timePassion for community building, refugee and immigrant rightsCultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgroundsExcellent writing, communication, and organizational skillsLiving migration experience and fluency in priority languages a plusAdditional Details:This is a full-time, limited term, non-exempt, in-house position at our Pittsburgh office in the Larimer neighborhood through September 30, 2026.Clearances required: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance, Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal History Clearance (PA Act 23 & Act 24); Mandatory Reporter and/or PSEA training may also be required depending on job requirementsValid drivers license, personal vehicle, and proof of insurance will be required  Selected candidates will be invited to interview on a rolling basisAnticipated start date: February 17, 2025The successful candidate must be currently authorized to work in the United States.Salary: 54,000-62,000 annually, based on experienceComprehensive benefits package available, including comprehensive benefits package available, including medical/dental/vision insurance for employee and dependents (75% employer-paid), generous PTO policies, paid holidays, and participation in employer-sponsored retirement savings with employer match (after 12-months employment).Equal Opportunity EmployerAt Hello Neighbor, we are committed to being an inclusive workplace where diversity in all its forms is championed.
