Job Title: Member Service & Prior Authorization RepresentativeCompany: Ovadia Heart Health, LLCLocation: Remote (United States)Employment Type: Full-TimeCompensation: $19.50 - $22.50/hrReports To: Practice DirectorAbout Ovadia Heart HealthOvadia Heart Health is a telemedicine practice founded by Dr. Philip Ovadia, a board-certified heart surgeon who has performed over 3,300 open-heart surgeries. We take a different approach to heart disease: instead of just managing symptoms with medications, we focus on the root cause, metabolic health. Our practice serves 200+ patients across all 50 states, and our team spends real time with every patient (not the 15-minute visits you get elsewhere). We are growing, and we need someone who cares about patients as much as we do to help keep operations running smoothly. The RoleYou will be the operational backbone that keeps patient care moving forward. When a patient needs labs ordered, prior authorizations secured, or appointments scheduled, you make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You will work directly with our Practice Director and alongside a small, tight-knit office team in a fully remote environment. What You Will DoSubmit and track prior authorization requests for labs, imaging, and specialist referrals. Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely approvals.Coordinate lab orders for patients across all 50 states, confirming correct panels, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring orders reach the right facilities.Schedule and manage patient appointments, including new patient intake, follow-up visits with our physician and nurse practitioner, and coaching sessions.Handle general administrative support: documentation, patient record updates in our EHR (Elation), secure messaging via Spruce, and coordination with clinical staff.Communicate with patients professionally and warmly. You are often the first or most frequent point of contact, and how you treat people matters here.Flag issues proactively. If an authorization is stuck, a lab result is missing, or a patient needs attention, you raise it before it becomes a problem. What We Are Looking ForMust have:2+ years of experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare admin role (prior authorization experience strongly preferred)Working knowledge of insurance verification, benefits coordination, and prior auth workflowsExperience with EHR systems (Elation experience is a plus, but not required)Strong attention to detail, especially with patient records, insurance documentation, and schedulingClear, professional communication skills (written and verbal). You will interact with patients, insurance reps, and clinical staff daily.Reliable, self-directed work habits. This is a remote position, and we trust our team to manage their time and responsibilities.Nice to have:Experience in a telemedicine or virtual practice settingFamiliarity with Spruce (secure messaging) or Keap (CRM)Background in cardiology, metabolic health, or preventive medicine practicesComfort working in a small, fast-moving team where you wear multiple hatsSchedule & Compensation$19.50 to $22.50 per hour, depending on experienceFull-time, Monday through FridayRemote position (must have reliable internet and a quiet workspace)Why Work HereWe are not a typical medical practice. We believe heart disease is preventable, that the mainstream system often gets it wrong, and that patients deserve a team that actually listens. You will be part of a small team doing meaningful work: helping real people take control of their health. If you are tired of corporate healthcare and want to work somewhere that genuinely puts patients first, this is the place. How to ApplySubmit your resume and a brief note about your healthcare admin experience. Tell us what EHR systems you have worked with and why you are interested in a metabolic health-focused practice. recblid rmoredzxmam1k0m8qduv2bt4zvsbbl
