If you're excited to be part of a winning team, Millennium Metalcraft, Inc. is a great place to grow your career.Responsibilities for Assembly TechnicianAssemble mechanical and electromechanical components with precision and consistencyInstall hardware, rivets, and other fasteners per engineering drawings and specificationsPerform hand and pneumatic riveting, including flush and blind rivetsComplete basic to complex cable assemblies using crimping, stripping, and soldering techniquesRead and interpret CAD files, blueprints, and assembly instructionsUse calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools to verify proper fit and functionEnsure assemblies meet cosmetic and dimensional quality standardsMaintain accurate build records and update traveler documentationWork collaboratively with engineering and quality teams to resolve issuesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentQualifications for Assembly TechnicianProven experience as an assembly technician in a precision manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with hardware installation, torque, and cable assembly best practicesAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD printsStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailComfortable using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring equipmentExperience with ERP systemsTeam player with a strong work ethic and positive attitudeAble to follow instructions with minimal supervisionExcellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:8-hour shiftDay shiftMonday to Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PMSupplemental pay types:Quarterly Bonus (after successful completion of 90-day probationary period)Ability to commute/relocate:Fremont, CA 94539: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Assembly: 3 years (Preferred)Manufacturing: 5 yearsShift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Work Location: In person
