Description The Jr. Talent Acquisition Specialist at KWPMC is a dynamic role focused on enhancing the company's hiring endeavors. Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, this position is pivotal in sourcing, screening, and coordinating the hiring process. The Specialist ensures that both candidates and hiring teams experience a seamless and positive hiring journey. With a foundation in both technical and interpersonal skills, this role requires a balanced approach to recruitment, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a top-notch candidate experience. Duties and Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Post job openings on professional networks, job boards, and social media platforms. Efficiently manage calendars for hiring personnel and interviewees. Maintain open and timely communication with candidates, providing them with a positive experience throughout the interview process. Utilize recruiting software to monitor and track open positions. Dispatch bulk emails, such as application acknowledgments and rejection notices. Handle essential documentation, including offer letters. Collaborate with the Onboarding team to facilitate drug tests and background checks and support related administrative functions. Represent KWPMC at recruiting events and job fairs. Strive continuously to enhance the candidate experience during the recruitment process. Undertake additional responsibilities as required. Work Environment This position will be located indoors and in an office setting. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 20 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. Position Type This is a full-time non-exempt (hourly) position. Days and hours of work will be Monday Friday; 8:30 am 5:30 pm. Minimal travel will be required for this position. Travel will generally be to attend meetings and trainings at an off-site location, generally within the city limits of the property. Required Experience and Education Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years of experience in recruiting both exempt and non-exempt roles within a full life-cycle recruiting environment. Proven capability in handling multiple high-volume recruitment tasks simultaneously. Strong collaborative, listening, and problem-solving skills. Ability to professionally influence leadership and hiring managers. Proficient written and verbal communication abilities. Awareness of relevant recruitment laws and compliance standards. Familiarity with KPI systems and performance measurements is advantageous. Technical proficiencies include: Microsoft Office suite and web-based applications. Communication platforms such as Skype, Zoom, and Teams. Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and familiarity with major job boards.
